is a testament to our guru ji's writing
an honor to their words
the lines we grew up singing
worshiping
and reciting

so as i bloom like a lotus flower
along with all the other shernis
rising straight from our guru sahib's baani
I'm going back to my paper
with a pen
to scribble a little more

and bhain
that
is what they call
maharaj's bakhshish
